Cette séance s'inscrit dans notre thématique annuelle Déconstruire la notion de la mode parisienne : vers un récit déhiérarchisé.
La séance du 23 février est consacrée à la question du vêtement de seconde main et aux pratiques de recyclage dans la mode, du XIIIe siècle à aujourd’hui. Elle explorera l’évolution des pratiques des fripes et de récupération vestimentaire d’un point de vue historique, social et créatif.

Made again / Re-made – recycling in Paris fashion from 19th century clothes collector and re-sellers to recycling & second-hand today

This session is part of our annual theme, Deconstructing the Notion of Parisian Fashion: Toward a De-hierarchical Narrative.
The February 23 session is dedicated to the question of second-hand clothing and recycling practices in fashion from the 13th century to the present. It will explore the evolution of thrift and salvaged clothing practices from historical, social and creative perspectives.
