Internships泭can be a great way to get a taste of what泭a泭dream job泭might泭(or泭might not) look like a few years泭down the line.泭Here,泭硃娶喧泭堯勳莽喧棗娶聆泭senior Maria泭Atallah泭22泭shares her experience as an Editorial Assistant at Vogue Paris,泭a position that she took on entirely remotely泭for two semesters. While泭it was challenging to adapt to remote work, Maria made the best of her experience and泭learned泭a lot along the泭way泭 what was泭most exciting泭was seeing泭her name appear on Vogue articles!泭泭泭

Typically I泭would泭attend泭an泭editorial meeting with all the journalists and editors in the morning. Afterwards, I泭would泭spend the day translating and editing articles and managing Vogue Paris泭English Facebook and泭Twitter泭pages.泭
It was really challenging to get used to a fully remote workday. As my internship took place during the泭Covid-19泭pandemic, I only had the opportunity to visit the office twice, and Im disappointed I did泭not泭get to have泭a real office experience. However, I still enjoyed my internship tremendously, and seeing my name on Vogue articles泭was泭such a huge reward!泭

I would love to work in the fashion industry or in the publishing industry, so this internship was a dream come true! It will certainly help me along the way, since I have learned a lot from it,泭and泭because泭Vogue is an industry leader.泭
